To celebrate the launch of Professor Paul Coldwell's new book, Printmaking: A Contemporary Perspective, there will be an in conversation event between Coldwell, Professor Oriana Baddeley (Director of Ressearch for Chelsea, Camberwell and Wimbledon Colleges) and Stephen Bury (Head of European & American Collections, British Library. The evening will be concluded with a wine reception.
Professionalisation and de-professionalisation of the art-making process
Since 2005 Thomas Wiesner has maintained the videoblog Spacetwo:Patalab under the guise of his web moniker Sam Renseiw. The videos posted to the blog are oblique essays uncovering detail in architectural environments and events with a clinical yet subjective, inquisitive gaze. With more than 700 videos produced to date, it has become one of most prolific videoblogs on the web.

This Forum was set up for PhD & MA students, supervisors and staff who wish to discuss moving image works in progress, theoretical issues or problems that could be usefully aired and shared in an informal setting. While PhD students have prioruty at this forum, the forum convenors would also like to extend an invitation for any research-active staff in the field of moving image to come along and discuss their research practice and how it might be developed.
