Processes of Painting Symposium
On the 26th June 2009, ICFAR, in collaboration with Paint Club and with support from CSM, Chelsea, Camberwell, and Wimbledon colleges hosted Processes of Painting. This one-day symposium, held at the Swedenborg Society in London WC1, brought together key fine art practice reseachers from across the University to discuss the methods, approaches and influences through which painting is undertaken. The event fed into ICFAR's broader agenda and title for an ICFAR book series 'How Art Thinks', the first publication from which was also launched officially, at the October Gallery, in the evening of the 26th June.
